A HEAVENLY CREATURE RELEASE

‘All The Nothing I Know’ by Nick Webber. i first listened to this record at the beginning of the year, just as i was moving, and it served as the soundtrack to my drives to and from Aberdeenshire as i figured out life and being away from my family and moving to essentially dedicate myself to music in all its forms. enough about me — more about Nick.

this record was recorded mostly in a bedroom in Englewood, CO. it’s a folk record, at heart, but it’s much more than that. there’s hints of emo and country. there is a piano ballad. there’s pedal steel, sax and a pay off so great on the title track that i have to rewind it most times. and most importantly, there’s little glimmers throughout of A Place for Owls; Nick’s band which me and my friends have loved for a long time. after spending so much time with the record i knew i needed to own it physically, so selfishly, this one is for me too.
